Another friend of Jessi's

This is Jessi's friend Alex... you know how I love doing my little experiments on Jessi's friends, I think these turned out really nice... She is a very pretty girl and extremely mature for her age. She was a great help the other day when we had to take Jessi to see Dr. Collins for her 6th grade physical. Wasn't fun... but Alex helped out with Jack while Jessi had blood work and so that was a huge help!

This song was from that Movie "Jesus" that was on tv a few years ago. It was also sang at mine and Chris' wedding by Odessa Lee Martin, it was awesome!!! I hope everyone has a great weekend, I am off again this weekend to shoot a senior session in Butler County... I miss you Chris and I love you very much!!!

Just a teaser from my TTD on Sunday...

this is the reason you should do a Trash the Dress session or "Anti-Bridal" session... we didn't trash anything but we sure got some beautiful and sexy shots... I have to say one thing... you may laugh but I literally prayed for nice weather because it was so hot at the beginning of the week and it was the most gorgeous day both Saturday for the wedding and then Sunday when these were taken. I couldn't have asked for it to have been any more perfect, so I have to give the Lord all the credit there. Anyhow... thanks so so much to Sheena and Seth for choosing me as their photographer. I had such a wonderful time and I wish you guys the very best of luck and a lifetime full of the passion that you feel right now... (WOW they're gonna make pretty babies, aren't they?)

Pretty Baby

...and this is Kristin's baby girl... I just love this photo, I guess mainly for the "feel" of it.. It almost feels like it was taken in a different time and place. I am not a big "sepia" fan but I think that on an image like this, it just screams vintage... I love this image!!! The background tones are her Mama in her wedding dress... how sweet is that? Out of every wedding I get an image that is just precious and so I am very blessed. I am hoping that this image will find it's way to a grand-daughter's house in many years to come.

Seniors 2008......

Absolutely, I am taking senior photos again this year, I do every year...and I am really looking forward to it! I have so many cool ideas and I'd love to hear what imput you guys have so we can work together and make these your favorite photos EVER!!! These are your senior portraits so they should be fun and let everyone see not just a little but A LOT of your personality and style. I am booking in Oldham County and also Butler County. One weekend here one weekend there... I will be shooting August through mid to late October. I have already begun booking up so you better give us a call. My senior 2008 collections start at $300 and this year I have added some extras for Mom as well. Also if you are a returning Mom, you get a free gift as well! I like to have fun with my sessions and I don't do the stuffy posey shots, so you don't have to worry about that! We will get outside and have fun and you will look great!!! Queen Kaitlin!

BIG Congratulations to Kaitlin Embry who won Miss Butler County 2007. She will now go on to compete for the title of Miss Kentucky in Louisville 2008. (Now that is what I call a crown!) That is her gorgeous Mom to the far left, hey good genes, huh? Way to go Kaitlin!! We'll be cheering you on in '08.
