Oldies but goodies...

These were taken last year but I still love them... Autumn was so beautiful last year in La Grange... we miss La Grange so bad!!!!! This one was taken right in the middle of the Historic Downtown, Between Treasured Child and The Irish Rover Too...

I love this one... taken in our backyard. That light was so beautiful.

A pet photographer I am not...

that's what Jessi wants to be... but this isn't too bad... I love cats and this one belongs to Olivia... When I am doing a session, if I see a cute kitty or puppy, I always try to take at least one photo. This little guy really wanted to have his photo taken so I indulged him a little. His eyes remind me of my cat Amy's eyes, I love those gold eyes... he also is striped like a Cat I used to call my boyfriend, Skreech... he ran away after I had him neutered... hey it's true and I cried my eyes out. Hope you enjoy! Everyone have a safe Halloween!

It's that time of year again...

CURRENT CLIENTS VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: Well every year, I have to do this. It's time to focus on the Holiday and also to take care of the clients that I have right now. I will not be accepting anymore sessions for 2007. I will be accepting some "last minute" senior sessions in the Spring, in case you didn't get the time to do a full senior session. I have to concentrate on getting all of my sessions caught up through November. If you have already had a session and are in the proofing stage, if you haven't received your proofing, I am getting to you. I work down the list so I am still working on the end of September. Please be patient... I will be contacting you soon. If you are a senior and have made your print choices and ordered those , hang tight... I am getting to them. I have to do them as I get to them on the list as well, I can't move anyone up in front of someone else as that would not be fair. Also your final prints take time as I retouch every one and if you know me, I am very particular with my photos. When you receive an email that your proofing is ready, the sooner that you can get your choices to me, the sooner I can begin working on them. If you wait too long, it will be much longer as I work on the list yes, but I also work on who gets their choices to me first. From the time that you get your choices to me, it is a 4 to 6 week turnaround for your entire collection to be complete and in your hands so it is great if you can get that to me asap. I do not accept ANY orders after December 15 as I take that time to focus on my family and enjoy the Holidays so that means that your order will be accepted after January 1st. If you are a Bride and your wedding is after November 1st, you won't receive your proofs until after the first of 2008, there just isn't time to get them back. I am working hard... I care very much for your images so I try to do the very best that I can. As always I want to Thank EVERYONE who I photographed in 2007, it means so much to me that you let me photograph such important moments in your life... I hope that everyone has a blessed Holiday and I'll occasionally post some photos and random stuff through the end of the year... Sounds so weird to say that! It goes by so fast huh? Anyone started Christmas shopping yet?

God Bless,
Jules

Pretty Baby...Lucky Baby

Baby Lola

My goodness she is beautiful isn't she? Well if you remember back in March that precious little baby Lola... well she is growing up! I love her, she is just so precious. Her hair reminds me of Jessi's when she was a baby... I just wanted to give Lola's family a sneak peek... It's midnight, whew, I better go to bed. See ya soon!

Had to put a couple more Olivia on here...

I've missed the whitewash... Olivia was perfect for it!

I'm Back... I think.

Well sorta... So In celebration of being back from the dead, just thought I'd share a few images of some seniors... I am working late tonight, I am usually an old lady and I go to bed pretty early but tonight I am working... Love these two images of Kerissa... she is just gorgeous! Athletic... plays golf and basketball, plus one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. What a great session. The second photo is obviously a funky take on the first one, it really happened kind of by accident but I love it... Anyway, I figured that Mom would like the first one so I put them both... More seniors to come and more families and engagements and weddings OH MY! Oh yeah and a very beautiful Anti-Bridal session, formally known as the "Trash The Dress" session ...with a face you will surely recognize. I have been busy busy busy.... But it is truly a blessing.

And a couple more of Olivia... Love these...

Hi Everyone!

...........Well we are smack in the middle of the moving process... one more trip back to Louisville Friday to get things all wrapped up, hopefully. It was so sad on Tuesday, Jessi was so sad and her friends Abby, Ben and Alex came over and gave her a big send off. It is going to be a very interesting period of adjustment but it is a good one. We have wanted to come "home" since... well I guess since I moved to Louisville 5 1/2 years ago. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Louisville and I will miss it terribly but I am still going to do Louisville weddings... I couldn't not do those, so if you have a wedding coming up and you need me, don't hesitate to give me a call at 502-939-9540, that number will be fine for a few more months, maybe longer... I'll definitely post when I have any changes. I am without DSL right now so it is hard to communicate with you all. I am typing this at my Mother-In-Law's computer and it is dial up, it just takes a little longer and I can't work on any photos until I get MY computer up and running which may be next week... Now regarding seniors, the weather has definitely went nuts on us. I looked out the window last night at 6:45 and it was DARK!!!! So my afternoon sessions are going to have to begin at 4 now. If you have a session booked with me for the next few weeks, please give me a call so we can discuss the time change and the weather... If I left Louisville without telling anyone goodbye, I am sorry... If you will email me at info@juliachristopher.com and give me your information, I will definitely keep in touch with you! See ya soon...

Jules

Outta Here!!!!!

So it is Thursday and on top of moving and all we are going on the big Holman Family get together this weekend... White Water Rafting on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. Then back to Butler County to pick up my Mom and then straight to L'ville for a KPPA conference all day and evening on Sunday. Can you say WHEW!!!! I will be so tired Monday. Just found out that Jessi has to get some extractions and braces so big family talk there... anyhow, I will not be working on any photos at all this weekend and probably not for a couple of weeks. We are moving everything out on Wednesday and will not be able to do anything with photos for another couple of weeks. I am so sorry for any inconvenience but I just won't have the capability to work like I have been accustomed to here in my little world off of Jack's room. I am gonna miss this office... bad! I have placed orders for Fallon, and Alex and Sheena and Pam so those will be ready to mail out or deliver BY Wednesday, so no worries there. I will be shooting as scheduled, so that is fine too, but just no post production work for a bit... all other photos will have to proceed once I get my DSL and computers all set up in Butler County! I hope that everyone has a great weekend. Shelley and Amy Lynn, I'm comin' home girls!! Yaaaaaaaa!!! Here is a song for all my female clients, past and present and to my bestest friends... See ya,

Jules

We are moving!

Finally... after 5 1/2 years in Louisville we are headed home to Butler County. Our last day up here will be next Wednesday. Obviously I am not taking anymore sessions because it has been crazy with packing and such. We are so excited to be going home. I want to stop for just a moment and thank all my Brides and Grooms, my seniors, my babies, my kids, my couples and even some individuals who through photography and a shared faith have become close friends. There are too many to list individually but just a few that are really special to me...
Erica and her whole family... Preston, Robin and James and the new baby...
Victoria and Glenn, sweetest bride in the world
Devin and Brandon... beautiful bride.
Mike and Missy and baby Claire... my tiniest newborn to date. She was so precious.
Brandy and Nick... awesome couple who love the Lord...
Jordan and Josh... well, Jordan, come one, she is just a doll!
Shannon... and sister Sara, my all time favorite Bridesmaid... four weddings together!
Kim and Faggan and their girls, I watched Adelaide grow up...
Gina and Nick and boys,
Lenny and Nicolle, Beth and Chris, Kim and Jeff, all of you who are UK family, Crystal and Mark and girls...
Kathy and Tommy... one of the sweetest and most lovely brides.
Chris and Leslie and baby Daniel...
Andy and Mandy and the twins...
Beth and Ken
Angela and Mike... (Louisville)
Angela and Mike...(Lexington)
Tina and Stefanie and Mike...
Aly, Hannah, Whitney, and all my senior girls and guys... there are just too many to list.
and especially Pam and her girls... and Brad too. It is amazing how God used food and pictures to keep you and I so close, I will miss you so much it hurts...
and of course to Shelley for making the trek up here so many times to second shoot... tenfold my dear, the Lord to bless you.
I thank EVERYONE who has called on me over the past 5 years to photograph for them and I want you all to know that you will remain very special to me... I will miss you but I will keep in touch through email and through the blog...
I will continue to photograph weddings in Louisville and will even be back for a senior or two next year. I will be back each year for my workshops and seminars... so hopefully I can see some of you then. I will email my new address to everyone and phone numbers as well...
Thank you so much for blessing me and allowing me to capture moments for you that I pray will be treasured for always...

Jules

I also want to Thank my husband for being my "Number 1 fan"... I couldn't do what I do if I didn't have you... I love you!
